Privacy Policy

PoolSeen ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PoolSeen service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Service company accounts: Company name, billing email, Stripe payment info (handled by Stripe, not stored by us), and technician profiles.
Visit data: GPS coordinates at check-in/check-out, timestamps, chemical readings entered by technicians, and photos uploaded during visits.
Homeowner contact info: Email addresses and/or phone numbers provided by the service company to send visit reports. We do not independently collect homeowner data.
Waitlist: Name and email submitted via our waitlist form. Used only to contact you about early access. Never sold.
How We Use Data
- Generating and delivering visit reports to homeowners on behalf of service companies
- Providing service company dashboards and analytics
- Processing billing via Stripe
- Sending transactional emails (visit reports, account notifications)
- Improving the PoolSeen product
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), SendGrid/Twilio (email/SMS delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure). All are bound by their own privacy policies.
Photos and Location Data
Visit photos and GPS coordinates are stored securely and are accessible only to the service company account that created them and the homeowner whose pool the visit was for. Photos are retained for 24 months and may be deleted upon account cancellation.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@poolseen.com. Homeowners may request deletion of their visit history; service companies authorize this on the homeowner's behalf.
